Breakfast in America

USA Exile Day One

We made it. Three flights, 22 hours of travel time, and one broken rental car later we were finally able to stop moving at 0200 and get some rest. Thank you Ruthy and TPH for leaving the door unlocked. Of course our body clocks had us awake at 0600 EDST. Oh well, we’ll adjust.

I hate to admit we actually enjoyed a breakfast at McDonald’s. I love the steak, egg, and cheese bagel, and really don’t care to know what’s inside. It just tastes good, and one a year can’t be all that harmful…right?

We then headed southwest to Fort Myers and were soon in the loving arms of our adopted home church, Quite frankly Next Level Church Fort Myers could write a book on how to love on missionaries. The level of care, the depth of the love, and the wonderful hospitality never fails to humble us. The next four days will be anything but dull.

Good night. Time to get over a bit of jet lag.
